Intro

I'm Travis Castleman, a web developer and graphic artist. This is a place for me to share my work, write tutorials, and keep learning. My plan is to create or revamp websites for anyone who needs/wants something more than an “out of the box” solution. Most of my early projects will be basic websites for personal and small businesses. I also have plans to make more in depth e-commerce and business sites in the future as my client’s needs grow. What I Do

Programming:
The actual code that is behind what you see on a website is the programming. My style of programing is clean, simple, and easy to update and maintain. As time allows, I will be making tutorials for those people who would like to learn a little programming on their own.

Graphic Design:
What is a website without graphics? I will create all the graphics necessary for your website. I can also do small graphic projects like banners, ads, or flyers for your website. I have placed different styles of graphics all around my site for examples.

Personalized Experience:
Your website will be an extension of you and your business, and I will do my best to keep it that way. I will work with you to get exactly what you are looking for. This includes not only the design, but functionality also. In the beginning stages it will help to have some ideas already in place for what you want. The ideas can be as simple as a few colors you like or photos of you or your business you would want to use.
Process

Step 1:
Gathering information for a general idea and concept of what you want your website to be. Your website will be another voice to communicate your thoughts, ideas, and/or communicate to your clients etc.

Step 2:
Laying out the design and content. After I gather some initial information about you and your company; I will work on a layout that I will present to you. This layout will have a main focus of a homepage, 2nd tier page, and some function.

Step 3:
The final step will to be finish the design and start the coding that will implement your content. Your website will be to web standards and work across all browsers. I will also use my knowledge in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to your benefit. I will present the final project to you and make any final changes necessary, and then we will "go live".
